****If you would rather not sign up with the link, keep an eye out for the paper sign up form being sent home this week

-Spring Break is March 14-18

This Week:
-Homework--Students will have math home work and a reading log. They will also be responsible for completing a reading review sheet based on a Time For Kids Magazine and a grammar packet. Students will be given time in class to complete the reading review and grammar packet but please keep an eye out for the packets as they are good test prep!

-Fractions-- We are well into our fraction unit. We will take our first fractions test Monday (2/29). To better connect fraction everyday life, Kristie Jones and I are planning a fractions "no baking" treat activity.  I am asking each student to bring a couple dollars to go toward the ingredients for this activity. If you could please send anywhere from $1 to $5 to go towards this activity it would sure help! THANKS! It would be great to get money for the ingredients by Friday if possible.

-Science fair boards- I will send home boards as they are graded this week!

Week of Feb. 22 Info

Hello!
Please read important information about the upcoming week:

-We have officially started FrAcTiOnS!!! AHHH! Hopefully fractions wont be so scary after the next few weeks as we have many lessons planned to learn all we need about fractions this year. You should see homework coming that has fractions. Keep an eye out for a parent newsletter with fraction help explaining our first unit(should be brought home Monday, February 24th)!

-We will be going to the Symphony on Tuesday! Please make sure your student has turned in their permission slip

-Science fair boards will be returned once they are graded. I appreciate your patience as I go through this. I want to take time to thoroughly look through each project.

-Please make sure to look at and sign your student's agenda each night! Many students are not filling agendas out- we are back on track feeling agendas out each day!
